Thanks for the video. Extra Tips: Water Pump: You can get the whole Water Pump Repair Kit for $35, same cost as impeller only. On reassembly, lightly grease the impeller and rotate the crankshaft while pressing the housing down, it will go on like butter with vanes in correct direction. Replace the lower unit drain & fill plug washers every time, only an extra $5. Not worth risking getting water in your lower unit. Put anti sieze on the lower unit bolts! They are the most likely bolts to corrode on any motor. My spark plug torque is 12.5 FT - LB. Put a block of wood between the prop and cav plate to get the prop nut off. DO NOT RUN YOUR MOTOR WITH THE GARDEN HOSE CONNECTION. THE MOTOR WILL NOT COOL. Read your service manual!!

I bought mine 4 months ago...from start it have some aditional noise from engine,and vibrate like hell...off course strougle and fight with official service for a while.But at the end of the season a will return them to check every single thing.

I keep getting monster Cichlids taking my Snakehead bite. Do you have this problem? I can always go bigger, but they’re eating 4/0 EWG hooks, frogs, and even hitting the poppers. Any tips on how to target the snakehead and leave the cichlids behind?

You should have used the middle handle holes. Unless there are two of you, it will never be used anyway.

Is that a 1448 you got because I got a 1448 with a 20 horse Suzuki and I wanted to upgrade to the 25 I don't know if it's a too much heavier or if it's a good fit or not.. I mean do you think you would be a good match for a 1448??? We have the opposite I have the electric start but not the power trim and if you practice chewed up that will cause vibration as well

My brother had an old Main V hull fishing boat with the wooden ribs. That was about 14 foot. He had if I remember correctly, a 25hp Evinrude outboard motor on it. Man you wanna talk about FAST AS HELL AND NIMBLE 😗🎵🎶 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What? you have to unlock a padlock to use it?? i always put em on locked. Also with a pad lock like this and the plastic thumb screws i dont need tools because i only need to bend it upward and the plastic will snap. Oh you could also use a blow torch so.... NO PADLOCK!

A padlock is no good. A thiefe gos to home depo and buy a hack saw the pad lock is hard the thumb screws are not so i start at the thinnest part of the thumb screw 15 minutes and your motor is gone. Thumb screws are maybe 20 dollars for a set so if i want to sell the motor i put a few dollars extra on the price.

How long, wide and high is your boat?

yamaha are durable engines but unfortunately on the smaller ones like 20 hp and 25 hp they only have two cylinders and vibrate quite a lot. Since you don't have power trim, it also becomes very heavily steered when you pull as you can't adjust the engine up and you have to struggle to keep the tilt all the time as it pulls on the engine. Replaced my yamaha with a new Mercury 30 hp and what a difference in engine. It runs so incredibly smoothly as it has three cylinders and the tiller has so many adjustments and you have the power trim original and what a low draft in that engine and very easy to control at all revs and you don't have to wrestle with the tiller at higher speeds. But above all no vibrations, it is very irritating as it vibrates constantly in the Yamaha.

How has this held up?? I love the vertical 1x3 idea vs entirely 2x4. Gotta be huge weight savings. And having a removable deck is the way to go IMO! After all this time how has the deck held up?

Have you tried the Rustoleumn Turbo cans? The wider nozzle is nice. The volume coming out is pretty aggressive though

I have been fishing for most of my life but now, at 57, I am learning how to fish. LOL! Not sure if they have made any changes to this in the 6 years since you posted this but I received mine on Saturday along with their Viper X 2000 spinning reel plus a 150 yard spool of 20lbs Power Pro V2. I gave up on those bushing right out of the gate. Since I have never spooled a reel before, this was a dream. Now I just need to get to some water.
